Alien

The best thing about this film is how gripping it is. Setting up the tone and environment is done masterfully and it leads to an extremely tense and astonished ending sequence.  I also loved how quiet it was at times, really added to the isolation in this movie and gave a sense of desperation. A masterfully well done sci-fi movie. Can’t wait to get into more of the franchise.
