Ran. Screams, armies colliding in beautiful colors, and loyalty evaporates. It’s grand and theatrical. The whole movie feels like power rotting from the inside while looking like a goddamn Mona Lisa. Akira Kurosawa’s magnum opus. A true masterpiece.
