Dune: Part Two

This was more than a film. This was a god damn experience. This right here is why we go to the movies. An absolute spectacle in every sense of the word.  Denis Villeneuve Is operating at the highest frequency possible. The more I think about it the more bewildered I am that a film like this even exists. Weirdo high fantasy firing on all cylinders on the biggest screen possible, and I loved every second of it. I want to take this film and inject it into my fucking veins. This film gives me hope for the future. A young cast working at the highest level possible and a director so passionate about the source material only results in some of the best fantasy sci fi ever put to screen.  I got full body chills like 5 times during this movie. The cinematography, action, score, editing culminate in an epic fashion.  The themes of religion and prophecy are nothing I’ve ever seen in a movie. Watching Paul go from an unsure boy to a fully realized prophet is nothing but spectacular, and such a cool viewpoint that is not often seen in film.  After experiencing the cultural event that is Dune Part 2, I think I m ready to commit my life to a holy war in the name of Lisan Al Gaib As was written.
