The claustrophobic atmosphere. The way this is shot in an almost square aspect ratio. Really just brings intensity to this thrilling movie. It is so beautiful and terrifying at the same time even while being in black and white. Also not to mention Willem Dafoe and Robert Pattinson are spectacular in this movie.
