oh my god. every good thing people say about this is true. easily one of the best movies i’ve ever seen the vampiressss! the acting! the cinematography!!! the depth and care put into every character!!!!!! uyuhhhhhh everything! so perfect i’m sobbing the scene where smoke teaches the little girl how to properly bargain and not be scammed out of her work is one of my FAVORITES !!! it shows his gentle nature, how much he cares and how wonderful a father he could’ve been to his own daughter.  every inch of this movie can be dissected and when people do break down certain moments, it makes the movie even MORE special because you realize ryan coogler truly put every inch of love he has into his movie and nothing is just nothing in this movie, everything and everyone has a point and their own history. everyone is so complex and so well written and portrayed, from the twins, to annie, to remmick, to mary, and sammie. it’s so beautiful.
