Sinners

i could watch this movie a hundred more times i swear.  the connection between the characters, watching this again and being able to fully analyze everything, slim is easily my favorite character. him willing to die protecting his people, to protect sammie. he’s a heavily traumatized man and still cares so deeply for others, he provides so much more than only comedic relief. “Blues wasn’t forced on us like that religion. We brought this with us from home”  is one of my favorite quotes from the entire movie, because it’s not only true to them, but remmick as well as an irish man forced into the church. OOOOUGHHHH DELICIOUS  something i noticed was at the very end of the movie, smoke was wearing stacks necklace on his wrist while he died, it’s such a beautiful detail i don’t see anyone talking about. prepare to be sick of me once this lands on digital🙌🙌 !!!
