Martyrs

This movie is so unbelievably good. There haven't been many days gone by since I first watched it that I don't think about this movie. This seriously has potential to grow into a 5 star film for me. In my.original review I said it contends with As Above, So Below as my favorite horror film of all time, but this is a much better movie and honestly I'm not too sure it can be boxed into the horror genre. Yes, there are horror elements on the front end and the things that happen throughout are certainly terrifying and horrific but I think it is more accurately described as a psychological thriller. Beautiful piece of art.
