Oppenheimer

undoubtedly nolan’s most profound film to date. a historical epic that had me jaw dropped and speechless. cillian murphy was brilliant, definitely going to be getting a best actor nomination. the supporting cast was just superb with the standouts being rdj and emily blunt who will definitely be getting nominations as well for their respective roles.  i had some tiny issues with the pacing, but that’s honestly that only thing i had an issue with. everything else was just phenomenal. nolan beautifully crafted this film, the cinematography, the score, and dialogue all cohesively merged together exactly the way it was meant to.  this film showed the earth shattering impact this story had on the world. this story opened my eyes and will open many others.  if this films holds up well after a rewatch, my rating will definitely turn to a 5/5.
