The Matrix

this is one of those movies that just keeps growing for me every time i come back to it. i liked it the first time i saw it, but over the years it’s slowly become one of those films that means way more than i expected. every rewatch makes me appreciate something new, whether it’s the atmosphere, the confidence of the filmmaking, or just how completely locked in everything feels. the action is obviously incredible, but what really sticks with me now is the tone. there’s something almost mythic about it. the characters feel larger than life in a way that never feels cheesy, and the film takes itself seriously without ever becoming dull. every big moment lands exactly the way it should. it’s also just one of those movies that reminds me why i love movies in the first place. it’s stylish, confident, emotional, and endlessly rewatchable. the more time passes, the more it feels like a classic that i’ll keep coming back to for the rest of my life.
