Weak Hero
Weak Hero Class 1:
this wrecked me in the best way. i thought i was signing up for just another high school fight drama, but this is something else entirely. it’s brutal, sure, and the action scenes are wild and tense and painful to watch but what really hit me was how deeply it cared about these characters. every punch lands emotionally, not just physically.
yeon si-eun isn’t your typical protagonist. he’s quiet, calculating, looks like he’d break if you touched him wrong but the way he fights back, with pure strategy and sheer will, is honestly kind of awe-inspiring. and then there’s su-ho and beom-seok, and that whole trio just… man. it’s like watching something fragile form in a world that keeps trying to crush it.
it’s not just about violence, it’s about what it costs. loyalty, fear, betrayal, loneliness, it’s all there, and it hurts. i haven’t stopped thinking about the ending. this show just understood how to break my heart.
