Nope

This is my third time changing this films review because I feel like every time I talk about it I don’t do it justice.  People who believe that Gordy had no relevance to the film should not be able to watch any other films in their life with such a negative level of comprehension.  Most/next to all animals in this film parallel Gordy and likewise. Jean Jacket parallels Gordy, Ghost parallels Gordy, Lucky parallels Gordy; in the sense that all these animals grow unexpected and violent when they’re provoked. With Gordy, popping of a balloon and vision, with Ghost, provoked by sounds of Jean jacket at night, with Lucky, provoked by the vfx ball of their own reflection. Ricky Park, commonly known as Jupe is a truly tragic character due to what Gordy has done to his life. Having such a famous career as a child actor, Jupe was destined for stardom, but all would go to shit when the gordy incident had happened. Because Jupe had survived the incident, he started to believe he was chosen, whispering to himself when trying to bait Jean jacket (“you’re chosen”) which ultimately ended in his death. Jupe believed that 1. He was chosen due to his survival and 2. That the alien species accepted him due to Jupe feeding him horses over the course of 6 months. Jupe led to the murder of dozens of people including his wife, kids, and co-Star, because his event with Gordy made him believe that he was chosen. In other words, the Gordy incident led to Jupe banking on his past trauma and believing he was chosen, which led to Jupe using OJ’s horses to feed JJ, which led to JJ consuming every audience member at Jupiter’s claim, which led to every other event in this film. Gordy is possibly the single handedly most important figure in this film next to Jean Jacket. If you don’t get that, don’t watch another film ever again.
