“The Psychotic drowns, where the mystic swims. You’re drowning. I’m swimming.”  It just needed two viewings. This is probably the biggest jump in rating from a rewatch I’ve ever done, going from 2.5 to 5 stars, and very easily. This movie is fucking amazing. It’s not only an incredible audiovisual experience, it’s also got a lot of depth in the dialogue in characters that’s gonna keep me thinking about it for a long time.  But seriously the style is insane. This movie is so singular and beautiful that even when I watched it the first time and didn’t really enjoy it, I couldn’t get it out of my head fully. There were parts that were so interesting and I would just think about them randomly, so now that I love the movie, I bet I’ll be thinking about it often.  Incredible.
