Frankenstein

why are so many people being critical of this film and saying it erases mary shelley’s original messaging? do you guys think that the 1931 adaptation did it better? no way! it was just a fun creature feature! let this movie do what it does well (cause it does do it well) and accept that it may not be entirely faithful to the original source material guillermo del toro made the story his own and endowed a personal message within it, and i think that’s pretty radical also, i love victor’s red gloves
