Arrival
Arrival is a breathtaking film about an alien landing on Earth and humanity's first contact. Communication proves to be the main challenge, so a linguist, brilliantly portrayed by Amy Adams, is brought in to decipher their language and determine if the aliens come in peace.
The visuals are perfect, and the acting, especially from Adams, is outstanding. The score? Absolutely phenomenal. The first encounter with the aliens was so intense and mesmerizing, I completely lost track of everything around me. They’re terrifying and beautiful all at once.
What truly sets Arrival apart is how it kept me on the edge of my seat like no film has in a long time. Even with all its technical brilliance, the movie also delivers emotionally and intellectually. It’s simply unforgettable.
It's one of those movies I wish I could erase from my memory so that I can experience watching it for the first time again. That bittersweetness when you get to the end of the film and all the pieces suddenly fit together was incredible.
