Dune
“My desert. My Arrakis. My Dune.”
What a movie. This may be one of the best movies I’ve ever seen. Everything was perfect without fail: the world-building, faction-building, character development, effects, costumes, acting, cinematography, and the score. Literally, everything was just perfection. With such a star-studded cast, I was definitely excited to watch this, and I’d only heard good things. And honestly, it was underhyped. This movie was beyond stellar. Timothée Chalamet gave the performance of a lifetime. Every scene he was in felt powerful. Oscar Isaac also did phenomenal—such a lovable character throughout the entire movie. Jason Momoa also did great. Literally, every single actor in this entire movie gave the performance of a lifetime. Absolutely stellar job. The movie, in my opinion, did the best job of world-building and faction-building. The world they built is beautiful. The storyline of the Fremen and what the world means to them was awesome to watch. Then move over to the faction-building—the conflict they built was extremely interesting, and there is no lack of awesome characters to love. The way they developed each individual character’s motivations and reasons for their actions was also perfect.I can’t describe this movie with any word other than perfection.
