Bubble Bath
Hungarian animation is honestly such a blast. It’s some of the trippiest animation out there, exploring with medium and movement in ways a lot of animated features from the US weren’t doing.
Bubble Bath is no exception, utilizing many character designs, animation styles, and even animation mediums to tell its story which borders on farce with each new development. The songs are also so catchy and inform the animation in ways that make the eclectic nature of the art feel much more natural. Each part grounds the other aspects while still letting the ridiculousness and tragedy of what is going on meld together. Absolutely wonderful. I loved every second.
