Disclosure Day
Unbelievable. Feels like the series finale of earth. It’s just such an authentically admirable experience to behold. The thing that separates Spielberg from the rest of directors is how easy it is for him to get the perfect vision out of scripts. Like even his worst movies are still very well directed.
I badly want to rewatch this movie for the final 20 minutes. I know blunt was great but damn that newscaster just decided to give a perfect performance with the little time she had.
I gotta say, Josh O’Connor needs to find better hiding spots because hiding behind a single bush 4 feet away from everyone isn’t the smartest move.
I don’t think I can give any proper takes about this movie till I see it again but I’ll say that not only does this film deserve award attention but it deserve a spot in the hall of classic Spielberg. It feels like the first 90s blockbuster since the 90s.
It’s crazy to say that Steven Spielbergs best alien movie came out 49 years after close encounters.
Steven Spielberg. The greatest director of all time
