I can’t believe the fact that this is Charlotte Wells’s debut. The direction of the movie is so good, Wells is extremely talented. Aftersun is not just one of the best movies of 2022, but one of the most beautiful films of the year. A great view on relationships between fathers and kids; about the downs and ups they can have, and about the impact we can have on each other. And everything is told in such a great way, the editing plus the photography are the best of the film.
