Get Out
Upon rewatch, this is definitely the best horror film I have ever seen. This was such a fun watch in theaters, it definitely heightened the watching experience. I took 2 of my boys to go watch this rather than going alone, and it was definitely the right call. Watching my friends in aw of what was happening made me feel so proud knowing I put them on to something peak that wasn’t a blockbuster comedy or an avengers movie. Going back and picking out all the foreshadowing and the little details is always so fun in rewatches, but especially in a film like this, where almost everything that you would think is something meaningless is actually just hinting at what is to come, Jordan Peele perfectly crafted the art of foreshadowing in this film. I can’t believe I forgot how good this film is, truly one of the best horror films of all time.
