Sinners

“…Elijah, you promised me.” *“I love you.” * I can confirm Sinners on a 4K OLED TV is absolute peak - it’s actually transcendental. Michael B. Jordan fully deserved that Oscar win - the ability to play both Smoke and Stack so individually that you genuinely are left confused how it isn’t an actual pair of twins is incredible; Elijah’s relationship with Annie, the immediate trust and understanding they fall back into when he goes to her shop compared to Elias’ relationship with Mary that only begins to flourish when they’re both turned into vampires at the cost of his brother’s life. It’s just so peak, anyone who says this film is just From Dusk till Dawn needs slapping.
