Tenet
Tenet is a film that I will never apologize for loving, I think this is an underrated masterpiece.
To start I feel as if people look way into the whole time inversion and trying to understand that, rather than trying to understand the actual story. The actual story does take time to figure out, but once you clock that the present and future are at war I feel as if it makes everything way easier to understand.
The Protagonist is such a well written character and feel as if John David Washington doesn’t get enough credit here. I mean that ending scene was so cold. Also, Sator maybe isn’t the most interesting villain of all time, but I liked his whole motive as an antagonist.
Speaking about John David Washington, the acting here is sublime. Robert Pattinson was perfect, Kenneth Branagh plays a good villain as well. The only lowlight with acting is Elizabeth Deibicki, but in her defense the character could’ve been written better.
Tenet is a reason why you should watch a film more than once. I feel as if the reason why this film got mixed reviews is because people found it hard to understand and simply didn’t want to understand it either, It really pisses me off. Because people will jump to another Christopher Nolan film like Inception because there is a character that walks you through it.
In my honest opinion this film is an underrated masterclass of a film, and I believe that in the future people’s opinions may change.
