Easily the most misunderstood and overhated Christopher Nolan film out there. I’ll forever be in the minority on this one. People only hate this because it isn’t spoon-fed to them like Inception is. I can agree that some of the writing could’ve been stronger, and I’ll take back what I said after my last rewatch—Sator isn’t a great villain. But for such an ambitious idea, I think there’s a genuinely great film here. At the same time, are we really supposed to fully understand every aspect of a science fiction film? Also, can we talk about the airport sequence? The fact that they actually crashed a real Boeing 747 instead of relying on CGI is incredibly cool. Tenet will forever be underrated. It’s unfair, but it is what it is. Absolute class sci-fi.
