Nosferatu
“Does evil come from within us, or from beyond?”
To no one’s surprise, Robert Eggers has done it again. Nosferatu packs a serious punch when delivering phenomenal performances, stunning visuals, and bone-chilling sequences. It displays a different kind of terror within its narrative that I find only Eggers can pull off with little to no flaws. It seriously is a Gothic Dreamy Masterpiece. The writing is impeccable, and the sound design is mesmerizing from start to finish. There were so many moments that made me feel overwhelmed and ridiculed with anxiety. The overall feeling this film possessed was just brilliant. I am already desiring another rewatch in my near future, hopefully once more on the big screen if I am lucky. But all in all, this seriously was a true work of ART.
