Honestly what is there to say about this movie.
This saved the “magic of the movies” single-handedly. Willem Dafoe is beyond terrifying. He has the best evil laugh in cinema.
The campy dialogue is so masterfully done in a way that makes every scene so unexpectedly and unnecessarily funny. It’s inexplicable how the performances and writing amplify everything and make it so much better.
“We are who we choose to be”
P.S. I’d die for prime Kirsten Dunst. I’d spend 8 years locked in a sensory depravation tank only being drip fed through an IV just to watch only the rain scene in this movie one more time.
