"oh my god, it's Ethan Hawke!" and he's fucking magnificent! I mean, it seriously is just Ethan in a bar talking for 2 hours and it's magnetic. You've got Qualley on top form yet you're still just waiting for Hawke to carry on talking. Absolute hidden gem of a film, with funny little nods to other people's works being inspired during this one opening evening of Oklahoma. 3rd Linklater film I've seen, one was a perfect movie (School Of Rock, it's not open for discussion), I remember liking Dazed & Confused back in the day when I saw and now this - I may have to go through the rest!9
