Phantom Thread

This film carries a graceful electricity to it. That’s the best way my mind can describe it. Daniel Day-Lewis and Paul Thomas Anderson deliver once again another spectacle of a movie which grabs your attention and refuses to let you go. A brilliant journey of power play and an incredible dynamic by both Day-Lewis and Krieps that is indisputably exhilarating. Jonny Greenwood also deserves massive praise for this wonderful score.  There are so many scenes from this film which I cannot stop thinking about. The Asparagus scene notably being one. It was mesmerising to watch two actors really on such a high level and really pushing everything they have and the result of it just leaves you in awe.
