A movie unrivaled in both sexiness and thrill. Sharon Stone swallows the screen every second she has the camera’s attention. Joe Eszterhas is a motherfuckin legend for this screenplay. Would like to assert that Verhoeven’s 5 film run from 87-97 is the greatest 5 film run of all time. Basic Instinct and Showgirls back-to-back is nearly proof of a higher being.
