Before Sunset
Okay so how do you top the 100 minute depiction of falling in love over 16 hours?
Make a film set 10 years later about the pain of never knowing how the original love would have played out. Oh and do it in 80 minutes.
As I said that I’d have loved to watch the original happen in real-time, we actually(sorta) got that here. The cafe, to the park, the boat, and the neighborhood all felt so pleasantly real and tangible.
I cannot wait to see the third piece of this work of art.
P.S. I definitely shed tears listening to Jesse describe his dreams to Celine.
