Obsession
This movie is fucking awesome. I never knew I could like horror this much. I don't know if I can credit Curry Barker with changing horror as a genre, but I really like how he did it here. There aren't typical jumpscares, just weird and eerie moments, that all put together with subverting my expectation on every occasion (except when the janga brick said to kiss the person on his left, I guessed that one word for word), makes for an unbelievably believable story.
The acting was so good for an indie film, and I think I'm in love with Inde Navarrette. Her acting was so expressive, and so scary that I actually felt something something while watching this. Needless to say, I excited for the gen Z directors.
