Tenet

70mm - a criminally overhated masterpiece, and hot take - one of the greatest films ever assembled, yes I said it. A film designed to be watched with great attention, and multiple times at the very least. One of the few films for me that gets better after every watch, and I mean more than twice - I’m probably closing in on 10 viewings at this point for this one. Something about the endlessly complex plot and impeccable design just clicks with me, and this viewing specifically was nothing short of perfect. Every new viewing unlocks a different part of the story. Finally everything clicked for me and had the best theater experience this year and probably the best since sinners released this time last year. Hate all you want, you just weren’t paying attention.
