Twinless

2nd viewing -  this really is one of the handful of movies I consider to be truly perfect. The entire thing balances being drop dead hilarious to uncontrollable weeping before you know it, and never stops moving. The performances here all around are deep and true, and all the production (from the rare but effective score to the multiple little camera tricks throughout) makes this all really come together. I couldn’t stop thinking about this movie after seeing it last year and after the long, long awaited rewatch it’s honestly even better. Damn that summer 2025 was so fucking peak for movies like this - seeing splitsville, this, and lurker was easily the best amc weekend I’ve ever seen, and I really can’t wait to get around to lurker soon!
