Do you feel comforted?’ ‘Yeah I do’ ‘Then what does it matter?’ Why M Night is one of my favourite writer directors. From loving it and watching it many times as a kid for it being an interesting take on an alien invasion with seeds being planted throughout for certain reveals later on. To still loving it now with the thought provoking message of ‘everything happens for a reason.’ It’s not perfect but the nostalgia I get from it and the writing makes this one of my favourite films.
