Thought about Dune pt 3. or Dune Messiah, whatever you wanna call it, but thinking about it got me so excited I had to rewatch this. I’ve definitely seen this more than once, I watched it a bunch leading up to Dune part 2, but that must’ve been right before I started using Letterboxd a lot. Which made me realize the release of Dune pt 2 is when I really started using it. A real landmark moment. Anyways idk why I had this at 4 stars, it’s not a perfect movie but I do not care, Dune rules, 5 stars. And actually it basically is perfect as a first in a series.
