Candyman

This deserves five stars for Philip Glass alone. Ever since I first watched it as a kid, the story has had a hold on me. The haunting score, the rich hues, the sharp dialogue, and the overall composition, everything about this film feels masterful. I’m so glad I rewatched it. And the way it blends social commentary with horror. Absolute perfection. Without a doubt, this is has become my all-time favorite horror film.
