I love how Werner Herzog’s films always feel connected. For example, in this one scene, they reference grizzly bears in North America and years later Herzog goes on to make an entire documentary about them. The plot keeps you engaged the whole way through, with each character adding their own unique twist to the story. And as always, the cinematography is visually stunning. Every shot feels deliberate. I’ll definitely be watching the documentary on Bruno Schleinstein after this, if I ever find it.
