Whiplash

**GOD THIS IS JUST TOO GOOD! **I searched the word “banger” in the dictionary and all I saw was whiplash. I don’t think yall understand how much I love this movie everytime I think about it I just get happy. I think that this is the only movie the I can confidently say that there isn’t a single scene that isn’t amazing and doesn’t add to the story in any way possible. Miles teller delivers a top 30 best acting performances of all time in this movie but we’re not ready for this conversation. If it’s right that when you die your brain replays the best moments from your life then all I’m gonna see is just all the time that I watched whiplash. I also downloaded this movie to my phone even tho I know damn well that I’m never gonna watch it on my phone but it just feels comforting to know I can just whip out my phone whenever I want to and watch this masterpiece. Some facts about this movie: 1. It was shot over 19 days with a budget of only 3.3 million dollars. 2. During the filming Damien chazelle got into a car accident but still returned to the set the day after. 3. The idea for the movie came from original experiences that Damien chazelle had in high school with an harsh instructor. 4. While filming the intense training scenes chazelle wouldn’t call “cut” and would just wait until miles teller was exhausted. Damien chazelle I LOVE you! (In a gay way obviously)
