Spider-Man 2

“Isn’t about time somebody saved your life?” God, bless Sam Raimi. So much heart in this fucking movie man, excellent direction and an outstanding script. Peter’s arc in this one is SO GOOD and it’s something the needs to be at the core of Spider-Man. The push and pull between his two lives and how they conflict. Now, I do think this story isn’t something we always need, but it’s an aspect that’s important to the character. It’s so satisfying to see Peter and MJ finally get together, not to mention Harry’s descent into Goblinness. Also, Doc Ock, one of the best villains in a comic book movie ever and an excellent performance by Alfred Molina.
