Superman
Wow, I’m so happy after watching this, David Corenswet IS SUPERMAN and Nicholas Hoult IS LEX LUTHOR. This was quite honestly even better than I expected it to be, I both laughed and cried multiple times. I feel like this might be the best superhero movie I’ve seen, it just perfectly captures who Superman is. I’m so glad DC is finally getting the love and care it deserves in terms of films. James Gunn just gets it, this made me really excited to see what he’s going to do in the future of the DCU. We really haven’t had a comic book movie this good in a while, I loved how whimsical and heartwarming this was, while also making you think and spreading a very positive message. I really enjoyed this and this really gave me hope for DC, I just know the first Batman movie we get in the DCU is gonna be one of the best things ever.
Also really enjoyed the stance this movie took politically, thank you James Gunn and DC for trying to expose the war crimes and genocide being committed by Israel against Palestine everyday, to a larger audience who may not be as informed as other people.
