Shutter Island

Ngl if I was Dr Cawley or Dr. Sheehan I woulda started laughing seeing teddy try to air them out with a toy gun It’s hard not to appreciate this movie when there’s literally so many tiny details that add so much. It’s such a fun rewatch, getting to see how everyone on the island interacts and responds to teddy. Such a convincing performance DiCaprio. You really feel his distress throughout the movie. All the tension builds so well, and keeps you guessing until the very end where they just drop the bomb of a plot twist on you. And guess what, if you’re one of the people who say the plot twist was obvious, I don’t believe you. And considering how jarring and dark it can get, it’s so rewatchable. I love it when all timer movies are as good as good people say they are *Martin Scorsese Ranked*
