82 I’m honestly not sure if I really like this one or not, while it was a really made well film and I enjoyed it for the most part, at times I felt a weird vibe as well as being bored sometimes. The highlight of the movie for me was obviously Gyllenhaal, his acting is great in this and his transformation is something that we don’t see much in film. Another great aspect about it was the action, I loved sticking with Lou and spiking in between shits with him and the police. But Idk, just the first half of this one really threw me off, it’s still great just left a bad taste for the rest of the film, I’m sure thats just me though. Dialogue is another part of this movie that really stuck out to me, the writer does a great job using words to communicate the change that Lou goes through, and surprisingly to me, its actually very entertaining to watch.
