All that plot, and the making us doubt him; and genuinely setting up that he is just a severely broken, grieving man who has a mentally disabled brother that he looks after (at least that’s how it read to me, sorry if that’s in any way offensive. The dynamic just felt that way.) who is angry at the way that his mother was done wrong by a company that was supposed to help her (a mother who also influenced his skeptical conspiracy theorist way of thinking), just for them to reveal that he was right !! WHAT ???! I really liked the movie tho, it kept your attention and was suspenseful, even up until the end! You start off thinking it’s just a run of the mill abduction movie of a woman who is morally grey, but definitely not deserving of torture… and then you’re side swept by sudden sci-fi… wow !! 10/10 !!
