Dune
Omg omg this actually works. Book reader here, it took some real courage to end on basically page 200 of a 600 page book. To me, this was flawless. The details, the imagery, the sound design all goes above and beyond expectation. HOWEVER, I want to point out that if I had not read the book (and books proceeding) I think I may have been a little confused. But that’s sorta the experience of the book itself. It’s got this hypnotic confusion that really makes it what it is. This movie nails it, I was truly invested in this world and blown away in almost every way. Give me 6 more of these please.
