Twin Peaks

8 days later, here I am. So apparently this page refers to the International version of the pilot, which is self-contained and reveals who the killer is. Still haven’t watched it, but now that I have seen the original 2 seasons I’m not missing much. I looove this show. Not only the soap opera vibes, the iconic music and the humour, but how the different storylines intersect and show you to see the day-to-day of the small town after the incident. Agent Cooper is obviously my favourite (but other favourites are Audrey, Gordon, Shelly, Norma and Denise) and I will probably dress as him for Halloween. Maybe the main downside (besides the middle-chunk of Season 2, the last James plotline, and WHO TF PUT THE FISH IN THE PERCOLATOR????) is that if you analyze the detective work of this show you realize that it isn’t very deep. Agent Cooper is only able to solve the whole thing due to superstition and dreams about the supernatural which are, from what I gather, specific to the town of Twin Peaks. So to me it’s all due to luck. He is cool and all, but he could not be able to solve the Kira case unless he had dreams about Ryuk once in a while. Close to perfection, but truly a great pleasure. Next step, the movie.
