Rope
This film is unbelievable. It’s classic Hitchcock in every form. The suspense is unreal, the characters are great, and the dialogue is some of the best I’ve ever heard in film. The run time was perfect for the story that it tells. The writing was unbelievable. The way the characters are always toying with the hyperboles or other figurative language pertaining to death or killing is genius. This film shows a true psychopath at his finest. Someone with no remorse for the man he has killed. And the acceptance of the punishment as the sirens of the police cars get closer when the movie ends. This film was amazing. The sole flaw in this movie the way the camera obviously cuts when going behind a characters back.
