Normal People
just finished rewatching Normal People and i’m actually not over it
it’s the kind of story that just stays in your head… not loud, not dramatic, but so emotionally heavy in a quiet way. everything feels so real it’s almost uncomfortable, like watching two people who care about each other so much but keep missing each other at the same time
their connection is so soft but also so frustrating… all the silence, the miscommunication, the “almost” moments. you just sit there like PLEASE just say what you feel, but at the same time you understand why they don’t, and that’s what hurts more
i love how nothing feels forced. the small moments, the way they look at each other, the distance, the closeness it all feels so natural and human. it doesn’t try to be perfect, it just shows how complicated love can be
also Paul Mescal and Daisy Edgar Jones was so good too like their chemistry?? insane
honestly this is one of those shows that you don’t just watch, you feel… and it kinda hurts to think about even after finishing it
“i’ll go”
“and i’ll stay”

like??? it’s so simple but it carries so much. no big speech, no dramatic goodbye, just two people understanding each other without saying everything out loud
that moment actually hurts because it shows how much they’ve grown. before this, they struggled so much with communication, always holding things back but here, it’s quiet acceptance. no begging, no forcing, just letting each other go while still caring
it’s such a soft but painful kind of love… the kind where you don’t need to be together to know it’s real
#drama#i would die to watch this for the first time again#situationship
