Climax

Damn I really thought I would grow out of this, but every time I watch it, it gets better. I ended up rewatching this with friends after another 2 years, and it was a transformed experience with a wiser set of eyes. The ending hit a lot harder; the dreaminess and detachment of Psyche in the last shot were immaculate. I think when I rewatched it in 2023, I was more interested in the psychosis narrative, but now, I was able to view the mental descent through a more healed and all-encompassing perspective. It felt more subjective and character-driven. Loud and passionate as always.
