Interstellar
I pushed off watching this film because I hate when films have a “cult following”. Interstellar is one of those films, and that’s for extremely good fucking reasons.
Interstellar is Nolan’s Masterpiece and in every right is one of the greatest films ever made.
What a cinematic experience to see in theatre, I’m blessed to have gotten the opportunity to see Interstellar in theater after 13 years.
I was arrogant and Bashful for pushing off watching this film, but I’m also sort of glad I did. I feel that I understood Nolan’s full grasp on my first viewing experience. That isn’t to say I won’t be watching this again, because I will.
Interstellar has incredible cinematography, a perfect script, a dream cast, and one of the most insane stories ever written and adapted to the big screen.
To learn after that those planets weren’t CGI and were shot all around the earth was a complete shock. It’s insane that this is mostly masterful camera work. Truly one of the most beautiful films ever made. I was in shock from start to finish.
Interstellar is extremely emotional and really grabbed at me. I connected to this film much more than I expected when going into the theatre.
Matthew McConaughey is brilliant and kinda ripped me up with his performance.
Interstellar is one of the greatest modern displays of cinema, and will be a staple in sci-fi until the end of our time.
I don’t say this often but arguably a perfect film.
