I am so in love with River Phoenix it is absolutely criminal. River was so great in this as always and I cannot overstate how sad I am after watching this movie (Bring him back before I actually lose it). While I think the girl is unmemorable and kind of annoying, I loved the plot regardless. River’s performance really bumps this up to almost a full five stars for me.
