Every time I watch this movie my rating goes up. This was the first time I ever actually watched the uncut version and I’m so glad I finally got to see it. There’s always so much to unpack with this film but man, my theory on Jordan and Xavier being the real love story here just gets stronger every time. Gregg Araki is just so fucking incredible. Never have I seen a man make films that are so ridiculous and inappropriate on the surface but so meaningful and purposeful when you actually stop and think about them. I love him so much.
