I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. We’re deep within a great horror renaissance right now and this is one of the movies making this period so amazing. They threw up a lot of balls in the beginning and I wasn’t sure how it would end but in my opinion they caught them all for the most part. I absolutely loved the split narratives and how the audience learns a bit more with each new perspective. There were some genuinely unsettling and creepy imagery and moments within this movie, they explained everything they needed to explain in a slow and deliberate manner that wasn’t just an exposition dump at the end. I think that MOST character decisions made sense, with some parts that felt iffy but the big moments and plot decisions made sense to me. There was also some great comedy going on and I think it blended well for the most part with the horror aspects, very similar to his prior work in Barbarian. Josh Brolin is always great please be in every movie
